Close Quarters are a trio who perform a variety of songs in close harmony. Steve and Sandra Harrison along with Jen Wilson bring a joy to singing that will defy you not to join in the chorus's.

Welcome back to Farefeld, a duo from the Staffordshire area and proud of it. Chris Elliot and Caitlin Jones sing songs from the West Midlands and beyond with enthusiasm and have a great stage presence. Come along and join in the choruses.

We are proud to announce the opportunity to have Gordon back at the Diamond. With a string of CDs to his name, Gordon is the complete performer who has appeared in bands (Dab Hand) and duos including both Brian Peters and the late Maggie Boyle. Singer of ballads accompanied with great skill on guitar but also wonderful flute player with tunes from England and Ireland. He has also set some of John Clares poetry to music and to top it all he published a book all about Whitby Folk week. A night not to be missed with this very talented artist.

I can’t think of a better person to be our first guest of the 61^st season. Brian is a real powerhouse of traditional music and song. He is hailed as one of the finest ballad singers around while his playing of melodeon, concertina and guitar will have your feet tapping and your hands clapping for more. Be early, he is a very popular guest.
