Bob and Gill Berry make a return visit to us. Many of you will know them as organisers of Chippenham festival and the Devizes folk club. Their repertoire covers a variety of songs, both Traditional and Contemporary. They have two lovely rich singing voices, with many of their numbers accompanied by Bob, and some stunning harmony singing as well. We had a delightful night on their last visit where they made lots of new friends with their friendly but polished performance. There will be plenty of opportunity to join in the choruses.

Stan is celebrating 40 years in the business of folk and we felt it was only fitting that you should have the chance to hear him perform. His stories are legendary and his songs are unforgettable. Learn them at your peril as you can do yourself an injury trying to imitate him. Patter songs, observations on life, and the doings of our historic forefathers, they are all there. You will laugh and cry, or both, at the same time. You have been warned!

Mat Green and Andy Turner
We welcome back the duo Mat Green and Andy Turner who make their second visit to the Diamond. They are of course stalwarts of various groups including Magpie Lane. Mat plays fiddle with Andy on anglo-concertina and vocals. They have a vast repertoire of English tunes and songs but can be also guaranteed to spring a few surprises. A night to look forward to.
George is paying us his first visit as a soloist though he is no stranger to the club. You will know him as one third of Granny’s Attic; but he is fast gaining a reputation as a talented guitarist and singer. He sings a variety of songs from the British Isles and farther afield, both traditional and contemporary. He is also a stunning player of instrumentals on the guitar which makes him an all round performer.
