Les Sullivan this is Les’s second visit and a treat for the many fans of his warm voice and melodious style. His self-penned repertoire reflects the lives and loves of the ordinary people made special by his craft of imbuing them with dignity, love and laughter. They sit alongside the tradition very well and can be heard in clubs up and down the country so why not come and hear them from the source. They will be plenty of opportunity to join in.

Crucible perform an exciting mix of energetic tunes, rich and evocative harmony singing and subtle accompaniment for a unique programme of English traditional material, ably complemented by their own compositions in the same style. They combine three joyfully distinct voices with a range of traditional instruments, including fiddle, melodeon, guitar and cittern. Members of the band have many years’ experience with dance bands GloryStrokes, Hekety and new projects Melrose Quartet and Albion band.

We welcome back Brian for his third visit. He has a vast repertoire of songs collected from people he meets when he performs in the villages of his beloved Lincolnshire. Even if we know the song he will bring something new to it and he is also an accomplished musician. So come along and be enthralled both by the songs and the stories behind them.

Pete Coe is a versatile performer. He sings both contemporary and traditional material, dances and plays (sometimes all together) which can leave you breathless but doesn’t seem to bother him!  Pete’s own songs have been regarded as modern classics and are performed the length and breadth of the country often by people who think they are singing traditional songs. He is very popular at the club so come early for a seat.
