Jan 20th Peta Webb and Ken Hall
- Author: Paul Ryan
- 2011-2012
Peta sings in a style crafted over many years listening to many great Irish singers. While Ken is also a fine ballad singer, he has some wonderful comic songs. They can also turn their hand to some fine American harmony singing.

Roister are Roger Tyler from Bromsgrove and Steve Minett from Worcester. Two friends who sing and play a wide variety of material that none the less leans heavily on the tradition. They are no strangers to the club so it is nice to see them as booked guests. Look out for Roger’s new CD “Ripe and Bearded”
We have retained our new Great Barr location. Thank you for all for your positive comments about the venue. Once again we have Captain Swing to provide our festive fun with Mike Griffiths calling and keeping us all on our toes (In my case other people’s toes) As we sell out every year this is your early warning to order your tickets.
This is Hector’s first visit to the club and after seeing him perform at the Alcester festival I know you are in for a treat. He has a fine ballad singing voice and a warm personality. Listen out for songs from the Robert Burns collection but he is just as adept singing a contemporary number.
Scolds Bridle are Sue Bousfield and Liz Moore. Sue plays English concertina and Liz guitar and bouzouki. Expect great harmony singing from this well respected duo whose songs range from the poignant to the comical. They are expecting great chorus singing from you.
