John and Will have been singing together for over twenty years and they take delight in songs from their beloved Yorkshire many of whom have been handed down to them through the generations. It has been said that they are two honest singers singing honest songs and after hearing them I am sure you will agree. They will be plenty of opportunity to join in the choruses.
We open with John and Nicole who are on tour from Australia and we are delighted to have them. Expect wonderful harmonies superb solos and fabulous music all served up with bags of energy from this young duo. They really set the place alight with their performance at the last visit. Come early for a seat and be prepared to sing.

Jul 9th Danny Spooner
Author: Paul Ryan
2009-2010
Another chance to hear Danny who, although is a native of these isles has for many years made his home in Australia. He sings great songs from here there and everywhere but the delight for me is his introductions both humorous and erudite. Danny accompanies himself on concertina and guitar. All you need to do is bring your voice.
Roy brings his skill as a fine concertina player and singer. He can move effortlessly from a traditional ballad to shanty to music hall ditty. His programme is peppered with songs from his beloved Cheshire and his self-penned songs sit comfortably alongside the genre. In the second half of the evening Roy will be joined by his wife Mary and Rose Price to bring you items from "When this old hat was new" a presentation of nineteenth century life in song.
