This is the first visit of the harmony duo Hissyfit. Hazel Richings and Linda Kelly are based near Hull and began singing together about 10 years ago. Linda, as newcomer on the folk scene, had begun to write songs as well as collect stories about the lives of the people involved in the fishing industry around the Humber. These have been added to their repertoire. They are delighted that their songs have been recorded and sung by Grace Notes and Pint and Dale.

Judy Cook is over from the U.S.A for one of her popular tours and has become a firm favourite at the club. She sings us songs that we know in versions we don’t, all done in her unique style. They come with choruses so bring your voice.

One of their CDs is called “Scanned” and subtitled “Music for lungs and bellows” which sums up their performance perfectly being a mixture of songs sung in unison and tunes played on concertina and melodeon all performed with their offbeat humour.

Hi Folks Roy has had to cancel tonight due to a Virus.
