A great respecter of traditional songs and ballads but you might not expect the odd rock and roll number all underpinned by Gordon’s excellent guitar playing, while his Irish, English and French tunes played on the flute will have your feet tapping. Look out also for material from his John Clare and Frank Kidson sets.

What wouldn’t people give for John’s easy stage presence? He has a warm sincere style that makes you feel among friends. This has been honed by long service as a writer and performer whose songs have entered the fabric of folk culture to be sung by the great and the good. But to my mind he is the best interpreter of his material so come along and be well entertained.

Lynne and Pat are no strangers to the club both have long pedigrees of singing and playing with various groups. As a duo their repertoire ranges from the tradition to music hall and contemporary ditties. Their sense of fun is shared with the audience and they give you plenty of opportunity to join in.
