John is an internationally acclaimed musician who can charm an audience with his songs and tunes whether it is in a large festival venue or an intimate folk club like ours. Jib is a new collaboration between Jim Mageean and Barry and Ingrid Temple. Expect some great singing with plenty of opportunity to join in the choruses. Songs of the land and songs of the sea together with some of Barry’s own material all seamlessly performed. This is great start the New Year.

Martin and Shan Graebe are bringing a festive flavour to the club tonight. Amongst the repertoire will be songs of Christmas and beyond. Some of them may your favourites while others might be new to you. Come along and join in the choruses. Due to their previous Cds selling out they have recently released a new compilation Cd  called ‘Calm and Collected’.

Keith Kendrick and Sylvia Needham are making their third visit to the club as a duo. Both play concertina and are fine singers, both as soloists and singing harmony. Songs of the land and songs of the sea with plenty of opportunity to join in and, this being December, I am hoping for a few seasonal songs. They are equally at home performing at a festival or in the cozy confines of a folk club. In fact they run the Derby folk club which meets monthly in the old gaol house.
