Jess and Richard Arrowsmith with Ian Robb. We are pleased to welcome back Jess and Richard who are doing a short tour with one of the leading lights of “Finest Kind” Ian Robb from Canada. Tunes and fabulous singing in harmony will be the order of the night. This is an all ticket night so buy yours early, as we know it will be a sell out.

Jeff Warner hails from an American folk dynasty that I could not do justice to here. Suffice to say that he is a consummate performer who has a fine singing voice and can accompany himself on banjo, concertina and guitar. Come along for a wonderful American traditional evening. He loves to involve the audience so there will be plenty of opportunity to participate. My hopes are high that he will be bringing his dancing doll.

Jez Lowe is a well respected song-writer whose songs are loved and sung throughout the folk world  and to start our 54^th year we have the man as well as the songs. Come and be mesmerised by the skill and ease that he conveys stories of the ordinary people and trades of his beloved north-east a rich heritage that needs to be cherished. Jez is a long-time favourite of the club so please get here early.

We welcome back Colin after a long break. He is a fine writer and performer of songs with a relaxed style well suited for a summer’s evening. His latest CD “Where The River Bends" has garnered some very praiseworthy reviews.
