We welcome back Dave Webber and Anni Fentiman to the club where they have made many friends down the years. You will hear some of the finest songs in the tradition sung both as harmonies and solos. Each of them are more than capable of carrying a night single handed but then you would miss the gentle humour mainly directed at each other and the harmonies that flow from it. Dave with his song writer’s hat on is well respected by the folk community, so I know we will benefit from some of those as well. Bring your vocal chords.

The Night Watch return to carry us back to earlier times by  playing a plethora of ancient instruments that they suck, pluck or blow. As Andy and  Ian are both fine vocalists they can conjure up songs that span hundreds of years. The shows, that they perform up and down the country, cover Shakespeare's wonderful body of work as well as others whose manuscripts they have researched and keep alive through vibrant performance. Come along and try to sing the choruses in your native tongue.

As you may be aware, due to lack of support, the Black Diamond's 2015 Christmas Ceilidh had to be cancelled.

An annual Ceilidh has always been part of the life of the Club, and if possible we would like to carry on running them. In order to understand what caused the Ceilidh to be cancelled and if there is a will for us to carry on running them, a short questionnaire has been put together to get some feedback from the people who attend/have attended. It is hoped that you will complete the Questionnaire and submit it to us, to enable a decision to be made as to their future.
