Hilary Spencer and Grant Baynham are Quicksilver. The “voice” is back at the club and Hilary has to be heard to be believed wonderful song interpretations and a wicked sense of fun. These deserved to be matched by amazing musicianship which is what you get from Grant who is a virtuoso on the guitar. Listen to her voice and watch his fingers.
Tom McConville the Newcastle fiddler is well loved up and down the country. With his melodious voice, easy manner and dry sense of humour he is a joy to listen to. His fiddle playing is in a league of its own and can quite take your breath away. Come early as he has lots of fans in Brum.

John is an internationally acclaimed musician who can charm an audience with his songs and tunes whether it is in a large festival venue or an intimate folk club like ours. Jib is a new collaboration between Jim Mageean and Barry and Ingrid Temple. Expect some great singing with plenty of opportunity to join in the choruses. Songs of the land and songs of the sea together with some of Barry’s own material all seamlessly performed. This is great start the New Year.
Martin and Shan Graebe are bringing a festive flavour to the club tonight. Amongst the repertoire will be songs of Christmas and beyond. Some of them may your favourites while others might be new to you. Come along and join in the choruses. Due to their previous Cds selling out they have recently released a new compilation Cd called ‘Calm and Collected’.
